Polly - Watercolors + Crayons
Quokka - Watercolours & crayons, kinda liking the rough watercolour paper after all.
Q:Just had a quick question for you - what kind of crayons do you use in your pieces? I love how crayon work turns out in your pieces and I would like to give it a go, but I'm assuming you don't whip out a box of Crayolas? :)
The crayons I use are the Caran D’Ache Neocolor II, they’re pretty cool cause they’re water soluble so you can tone down the texture with water or just leave them dry. And they come in lots of pretty colors! :) I’ve also used oil pastels with similar effects, although some can be too buttery.
Hope that helps! :)
